Even in Belgium before the 1960s, youâd have struggled to find a witbier. That is, until Pierre Celis resurrected this style of wheat beer â once widely brewed â in the town of Hoegaarden. Celis revived the style adding coriander seeds and Cura?ao orange peel to make one of the worldâs most refreshing styles. Today, Hoegaarden is the worldâs most popular witbier and drank around the world. In the six-litre PerfectDraft keg, it is the perfect beer to get in for the summer barbecue.
Tasting Notes
Spice, cloves, citrus. Lemony with a low bitter crisp body. Top-fermented and bottom conditioned to create the unique haziness and incredibly smooth mouthfeel.
